To use Cypress's CD-ROM follow the instructions below for your system.

1.  Install Acrobat(TM) Reader, if you do not already have it installed.  The latest versions are included on the CD-ROM for Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 98, Macintosh,Sun Solaris, Sun OS, 
HP-UX, and SGI IRIX operating systems. If the version of Reader you have doesn't have search capability, you can install one from this CD according to the instructions below:
    ACROBAT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -
    WINDOWS USERS:
    System requirements:  
	Requires 386-, 486-, or Pentium(R)- based processor
	Windows 95/98/00, Windows NT 3.5 or greater
	4MB RAM or greater

    To install Acrobat Reader on your hard drive:

    Click on "Start" on the taskbar, choose Run, then type in the dialog box 
    (YOUR DRIVE DESIGNATOR):\AcrobatReader\windows\rp500enu.exe


    SUNOS, SOLARIS, SGI-IRIX, and HP-UX USERS:
    System requirements:  
	Sun SPARCstation workstation
	Solaris - 1.1 operating system software (SUNOS version 4.1.3 or 4.1.4) or
		Solaris 2.3 or greater
	OpenWindows (version 3.0 or greater) or Motif window manager 
		(version 1.1.2 or greater)
	HP-UX 9.03 and above
	8MB of application RAM
	14MB hard disk space

    To install Acrobat Reader on your hard drive:
    Please go to the folder AcrobatReader/acrosun, hp_ux, or acrosgi. Un"tar" the .tar archive file (tar -xvf filename) and follow the instructions in the file "INSTGUID.TXT"

FULL TEXT SEARCH
To use our search capability, follow these instructions:    
Open any document on the CD in a version of Acrobat Reader with search capability. If your version does not have this capability, see instructions below for installing Reader with Search from this CD:
    - Select Edit -> Search -> Select Indexes. A window will open up. If "CD-ROM" is not listed, click the "Add" button.
    - Browse to /cdrom and choose cdrom_search_index.pdx. Then click the "Open" button. You will return to the previous window. Click "OK".
    - Select Edit -> Search -> Query. Begin searching. 
    - For detailed information about the available search options, please consult your Reader Guide under the Help menu. Select "Searching Catalog Indexes" from the bookmarks at the left (it's at the bottom). It does not show on the main menu.

2. If you do not already have QuickTime installed on your system, you may install it from this CD's "Cypress_Corp_Video" folder. You must have QuickTime in order to view the Corporate Video.
To Install QuickTime:

- On the CD-ROM, locate the file called "QuickTimeInstaller.exe".
- Double-click on the file and follow the installation instructions.
- In order to use the QuickTime Player after installation, you may need 
to restart your computer.
- Once installed, you may play the movie by double-clicking on the .mov file.


System Requirements for QuickTime:

Windows-based computer with a Pentium-class processor.
Windows 95, 98, NT4, or Windows 2000.

3. The Cypress Data Book CD-ROM automatically opens in Full Screen View. To go from Full Screen View to a view within Adobe Acrobat that includes the Tool Bar selections, simply hit the Esc key. Each index page is accessible 
from the Front Index page (index.pdf) by clicking on its title. Once the desired index page is loaded, bold blue underlined text indicates a hyperlink to another
document. Click on one of these references to retrieve the corresponding document. To better facilitate ease of navigation, there are also buttons installed that can return you to the Front Index
Page, take you to our web site (www.cypress.com), or simply move back a page at a time or to the first page of that particular index.
